| Q&A: Why in Italy young people (<30 years old) are so interested in japanese culture ? Because on the italian TV Channels, in the last 15 years, more than 380 different Japanese Series have been transmitted, and still today the 500+ private TVs continue airing them. Except Japan, on this point Italy is 1st. American cartoons are also viewed, but is common opinion that they are too simple (Tom & Jerry, etc.) for adult people that actually still continue to watch animations on TV; Japanese cartoons express very positive and constructive valors, and are very good for childrens. |
